Per release, George Washington athletics announced that athletes will be given Election Day off to exercise their right to vote. The #OnlyatGW Voting Initiative will give athletes a break from practice and competition on Election Day.
“It’s what we strive to do here at GW by changing the world one person at a time,” said Colonials men’s basketball head coach, Jamion Christian. “That change starts with finding and using your voice.”
