New Look Colonials

George Washington head coach, Jamion Christian, will have a new look roster in his second year in Foggy Bottom.

Matthew Moyer (Vanderbilt), Ricky Lindo Jr. (Maryland), and James Bishop (LSU) will be joining the program via the transfer portal.

Moyer will be eligible this season. Foggy Bottom will be the third stop for Moyer. Before his time at Vanderbilt, Moyer (6’8″ 229 lbs) was at Syracuse.

Lindo Jr. and Bishop will have to sit out the 2020-21 season.

Both players have ties to the area. Lindo Jr. played for the University of Maryland where his role fluctuated last season. Bishop is a Baltimore native who averaged 3.1 points a game at LSU.

Joining Moyer on the active roster will be incoming freshmen Lincoln Ball, Tyler Brelsford, and Noel Brown.

There will also be a few departures from Foggy Bottom. Justin Mazzulla (Vermont), Chimezie Offurum, (Mount St. Mary’s), Arnaldo Toro (St. John’s), Dennis “DJ” Williams (DePaul), and Shawn Walker Jr. are all leaving GW via the transfer route. Toro is a Grad transfer.
