NFL Divisional Playoffs Predictions

Can road teams continue success in the NFL Divisional Playoffs?

Six of the eight teams playing this weekend won 10 games or more during the regular season. The NFL was a lot more top heavy than the powers-that-be will acknowledge but that makes for some intriguing games this weekend.

Saturday

Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers

When: 4:35 – NBC

Line: San Francisco -7; Over/Under 44 (Covers.com)

Note: Once again, the line seems too high for a Minnesota team that keeps playing better and better. Once again, the key will be to make enough plays where the Vikings aren’t asking Kirk Cousins to make too many plays.

Prediction: Minnesota +7/Over 44

Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens

When: 8:15 – CBS

Line: Baltimore -10; Over/Under 46.5 (Covers.com)

Note: The Ravens have had an extra week to heal up but will the rest help or hurt. The Titans put away a Patriots team that showed some slippage.

Prediction: Tennessee +10; Under 46.5

Sunday

Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs

When: 3:05 – CBS

Line: Kansas City -10; Over/Under 51 (Covers.com)

Note: Houston struggled with the Buffalo last week. Going to Kansas City and playing against a Chiefs defense that’s getting better and better will be a tall order.

Prediction: Kansas City -10/Over 51

Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers

When: 6:40 – Fox

Line: Green Bay -4; Over/Under 47 (Covers.com)

Note: The Packers have been able to win without the Aaron Rodgers having to be a superstar. That seems good on one hand and causes apprehension on the other.

Prediction: Seattle +4/Under 47
