For the first time since 2015, VCU is ranked in the Associated Press’ top 25. The Rams are ranked 25th to open the season.
There is reason to be optimistic. VCU returns four starters from last year’s NCAA tournament including Marcus Evans. The Rams point guard is on the Bob Cousy Watchlist. The award is given to the nation’s best point guard.
