Through the Uprights: Week 6 College Football/Thursday Night Football

NFL Pick (Thursday Night):

Los Angeles Rams (+1) at Seattle Seahawks (over/under 49.5)

The Rams let Jameis Winston carve them up. Jameis…. Winston…. Seattle is 3-1 but it doesn’t feel like a 3-1 team. If you work on the premise that the line-makers give the home team three points, you realize how close they think this game will be.

Pick: Seattle -1

College Football Picks (Friday night):

UCF (-4) at Cincinnati (over/under 60.5)

Last week, UCF got a bounce back with over UConn after dropping a game to underdog Pitt. UConn could be every team’s “bounce back” opportunities.

Cincinnati has been impressive at home. The Bearcats only loss came to the hands of Ohio State. That’s nothing to be ashamed of.

Prediction: Cincinnati +4

New Mexico (+6.5) at San Jose State (over/under 66.5)

San Jose State is back home after a two game road trip that saw them win at Arkansas but lose at Air Force.

If the line makes you feel uncomfortable, the over could be the play.

Prediction: San Jose State -6.5
