NFL Power Rankings

Road teams were 11-4 last week in the NFL. That’s one heck of a week for the guys dropping in with suitcases.

  1. Kansas City Chiefs (4-0) – Kansas City leap frogs the Patriots. The win over the Lions was a tough one but it says more about how much better Detroit has gotten. Next Game: vs Indianapolis
  2. New England Patriots (4-0) – Good win in Buffalo. The Pats didn’t get a good performance from Tom Brady but there’s nothing to worry about. Look who is up next. Next Game: at Washington
  3. New Orleans Saints (3-1) – The Saints win over Dallas might’ve been the best week four win in the league. New Orleans is proving they can still win despite not having Drew Brees. They just win in a different way. Next Game: vs Tampa Bay
  4. Dallas Cowboys (3-1) – I’m giving a pass to the Cowboys for the road loss at New Orleans but they’ll need to follow it up with a better performance this week. Dallas losing on the road shouldn’t cause alarms but there powerless offense should start the process of being concerned. Next Game: vs Green Bay
  5. San Francisco (3-0) – The 49ers are coming off a bye week as they look to stay undefeated. Head coach Kyle Shanahan will have a chance to show off his genius in prime time when the face the Browns who are coming off a road win over Baltimore. Next Game: vs Cleveland
