NFL Power Rankings

After the first two weeks, we can surmise that the Patriots could be historically good in the same season that the Miami Dolphins could be historically bad.

  1. New England Patriots (3-0) – In typical Patriots fashion, they know when to hold them, when to fold them. New England quickly got out of the Antonio Brown business as soon as more off-the-field news popped up. For the first time in a long time, the Patriots haven’t wrapped up the division after three games. Up next, the undefeated Bills in Buffalo. Next Game: at Buffalo
  2. Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) – Kansas City posted their most impressive win of the young season with a 33-28 win over the Ravens. There aren’t many “let down” games in the NFL but you have to wonder if three road games in four weeks will impact the Chiefs. Next Game: at Detroit
  3. Dallas Cowboys (3-0) – Dallas treated the Dolphins the way they should treat the Dolphins. Kellen Moore has been the number one story in Dallas. Prescott continues to play well with Moore’s creative game planning. Next Game: at New Orleans
  4. Green Bay Packers (3-0) – For all the talk coming into the season about Aaron Rodgers and the Packer offense, the star has been their defense. Can they continue their impressive play on a short week against a desperate team? It’s not as easy as it sounds. The Eagles will be breaking out the entire playbook. Next Game: vs Philadelphia
  5. Los Angeles Rams (3-0) – The Rams have shown some grittiness this season especially in their road win against Cleveland. This could be the best of both worlds. The Buccaneers defense isn’t going to scare anyone while the Rams defense should be able to take advantage of Jameis Winston’s questionable decision making.  Next Game: vs Tampa Bay
