Loudoun United FC have acquired midfielder Carlos Alvarez.
Alvarez played for the USL champions, Las Vegas Lights FC, last season. He’s played for seven teams between MLS and USL scoring 19 career goals and 16 assists.
“Adding a player with Carlos’ pedigree and experience is a tremendous boost to the team on and off the field as we push for the playoffs.” Ryan Martin, Loudoun United Head Coach, said.
Alvarez played collegiate soccer at the University of Connecticut where he was named to the All-Big-East team four years in a row and earned All-American honors twice.
