The Georgetown Hoyas hope to build upon last season’s success as they enter the 2019 campaign. It looks like the other coaches and sports information directors have taken notice.
The Hoyas are predicted to finish third in the always tough Patriot League. It’s the highest preseason prediction since the Hoyas have joined the league.
Georgetown also had six players named to the preseason all-conference team.

- Senior wide receiver Michael Dereus
- Junior defensive lineman Duval Paul
- Senior running back Isaac Schley
- Senior defensive lineman Khristian Tate
- Junior safety Ahmad Wilson
Update: Khristian Tate was named to the STATS FCS Preseason All-American team (3rd team). Tate led the Patriot League last season with 10 sacks. That ranked 8th in all of FCS.
