Georgetown football players are set to report on Sunday with practices starting on Monday. Practices will be open to the public.
The Hoyas kickoff the 2017 football campaign against Campbell on September 9th.
This is one on my favorite times of the year,” said fourth-year Head Coach Rob Sgarlata. “It is like Christmas in August. I am excited to start working with our student-athletes and our staff as we prepare for a great 2017 schedule. This summer we had more than half of the players on the Hilltop taking classes, completing internships and working with our strength & conditioning staff. I am looking forward to welcoming the balance of our team back on Sunday and getting started on the field early Monday morning.”
The Hoyas bring back experience on both sides of the ball. Eight returning starters on defense and nine on offense.
