Xavier Jackson commits to VCU

VCU Head Coach Mike Rhoades continues to add to the roster as the Rams signed junior college guard Xavier Jackson.

Jackson will have two years of eligibility. He averaged 13.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists a game. He will also add another punch from the three point line. Last season, Jackson shot 36% from the three point arc.

Jackson’s toughness has showed up in his play recording 7 double-doubles last season.

“We’re excited to have Xavier and his energy and approach in our program. He’ll add depth and some maturity to our team,” said Rhoades.

The Rams have added 8 new players to the program.
