DC Native Antoine Douglas faces Bruno Sandoval for the NABA & WBC Middleweight Titles

The NABA & WBC Middleweight titles will be on the line when Antoine Douglas squares off against Bruno Sandoval.

The bout will take place on July 14th at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma. The fight will be featured on ShoBox: The New Generation.

Douglas (21-1-1), the Washington D.C. native, is on a two fight winning streak after suffering his first loss. Despite the loss, Vito Mielnicki of GH3 promotions feels like a win by Douglas will put him right back in the mix.

“If he wins on July 14th, he will be ranked in two organizations, and we hope to have him back in a significant bout in the early fall.  As we have said time and again, we have not seen the best Antoine Douglas.  He is still just 24 years-old, and when it is all said and done, his loss will just be a blip on his career record.  There is a lot of opportunity in the middleweight division, and on July 14, Antoine will take another big step to securing a big fight.”
Sandoval (19-2-1) will be fighting for the first time in the United States. He’s 5-2-1 in his last 8 fights including being knocked out in his last outing.
