Georgetown Athletics announced that junior forward Akoy Agua will transfer. Agau transferred to Georgetown from Louisville.

“I am in complete agreement with his leaving and we will assist him in any way we can,” Head Coach Patrick Ewing said.  “We wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Agua averaged 4.6 points per game.

Ewing knows he’s faced with some challenges when it comes to the Hoyas’ roster but he could be getting some immediate help as potential transfers, Mark Alstork and Trey Dickerson are set to visit the school.
