The Monday Morning Sports Rag takes a look at events that the average fan might have missed over the weekend.

Pat Perez Wins OHL Classic – Pat Perez shot 4 under to win the OHL Classic. Perez had shoulder surgery in February and was making just his third start. His other two finishes were 33rd in Malaysia and 7th in Las Vegas.

Carlota Ciganda Wins the Lorena Ochoa – Carlota Ciganda continued her hot play with a victory at the Lorena Ochoa. It’s her second win in her last four starts.

Danny Garcia Wins His Warm Up Bout – Danny Garcia defeated Samuel Vargas by 7th round knockout. This bout served as a tune to the highly anticipated Danny Garcia-Keith Thurman fight scheduled for March.

Cleveland Cavaliers Set Record– The Cleveland Cavaliers have set a record you would think would be more befitting of the Warriors. The Cavs became the first team to hit 10 3-pointers in their 9 games.

US Men’s National Team Loses – The USMNT lost an important World Cup Qualifying match versus Mexico, 2-1.

Joey Logano Wins at Phoenix – Joey Logano won at Phoenix which qualifies for the Sprint Cup Championship. Logano can win his first Sprint Cup title at Homestead (Miami).
