Harvick Wins in Kansas – In a race dominated by Matt Kenseth early on, Kevin Harvick ended up with the victory and a spot in the final eight of the Sprint Cup Playoffs

Tony Bellew Retains his Title – WBC Cruiserweight champion, Tony Bellow, retained his title with a 3rd round TKO over BJ Flores.

Paul Scruggs Signs With Xavier – Scruggs is a top 30 in ESPN recruiting. Since 2007, Xavier has only gotten four top 50 recruits.
