FIBA Asia Champions Cup: Petrochimi and China Kashgar off to Fast Starts

After two games, Petrochimi and China Kashgar are still undefeated.

In Petrochimi’s victory over Pauian, former University of Cincinnati Bearcat, James White IV led the team with 28 points and 7 rebounds while Gerald Robinson Jr. poured an additional 28 in the 100-80 victory.

In their second game, Petrochimi dominated ONGC 95-51. Just like the first, White and Robinson Jr. led with 11 and 14 points respectively but this time they received contributions from Mehrad Atashi and Oshin Sahakian. Atashi scored 14 while Sahakian chipped in 12.

China Kashgar first two wins have come equally as easy. In their 96-69 victory over Al Shorta, Darius Adams scored 23 with Andray Blatche contributing 10 points and 8 rebounds. Their second game saw them beat down Al Ahli 108-79.

Blatche had a double double (17 points and 11 rebounds) and Adams poured in 22. China Gashar also got 16 points from Mugedaer Xirelijiang.
