FIBA Asia Champions Cup Finals Is Set

The 2016 will be a battle of group winners as both Al Riyadi and China Kashkar both were victorious in the semi-final games.

Al Riyadi has been dominant the entire tournament. They’re average margin of victory is 20.3 points per game. Their semifinal game against Al Ahli produced similar results even though it was only a 5 point game at halftime. But, Al Riyadi got it cranking in the second half outscoring Al Ahli by 9 in the third quarter and 14 in the fourth. Dewarick Spencer scored 26 while Alade Aminu posted another double-double, 17 points and 11 rebounds. Fadi El Khatib chipped in with 20 points.

Al Ahli was led by Samuel Young’s 32 and 10 rebounds.

 

China Kashkar 90

Petrochimi 86

In the second game, China Kashkar was challenged yet again. After being taken to overtime by Al Rayyan, Petrochimi gave them everything they could handle. Once again, Andray Blatche turned in a monster performance scoring 27 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Darius Adams also chipped in with 20 points and 6 assists.

Petrochimi led throughout the first half and had an 8 point lead at the half and pushed it up to 9 midway through the 3rd. But, China Kashkar chipped away in the third and completed the comeback in the fourth.

Petrochimi, who had a chance to avenge their only loss, was led by Behnam Yakhchali and James White. Both scored 26 points.
